Each week kids are introduced to high frequency verbs and key cognates within the context of a short story. The class is anchored in consistent repetition of key phrases. Attend just one or two weeks or all weeks to practice and increase your vocabulary through the exciting world of storytelling. The stories change each week to keep learners engaged and creative juices flowing!

One week we will focus on The Three Little Pigs and the verbs: builds, is, there are, walks, runs, sees, goes, falls, has.

The next week we take on the story of Goldilocks and The Three Bears with the terms: is, there are, jumps, sleeps, has, eats, prepares, sits, decides.

We tell and retell our own versions of these classic stories through puppets, acting out with props, drawing, listening and creating scenes with playdough and other manipulatives.
