SPANISH THANKSGIVING CAMP

Language learning should be organic and fun: through the wonders of storytelling we do just that!

Students in grades K-4 will gain confidence identifying key words and phrases in Spanish.

Whether this is your child's first exposure to the language or they have taken elementary school Spanish class, kids will engage with new stories and characters while strengthening their language skills.

Thanksgiving Camp Registration

Camp will meet in Northfield Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday the week of November 24th from 8:30-10:30am.

Camp Fee: $225* Avoca Families: $185 *Financial assistance is available*

Each week children are introduced to high frequency verbs and key cognates within the context of a short story. These classes are anchored in consistent repetition of key phrases all geared towards gaining practice and excitement around Spanish!

Learners engage in games, stories and art projects getting their creative juices flowing in Spanish in every class!

We tell and retell our own versions of classic children’s stories with puppets, theater, drawing, listening and creating scenes with playdough and other manipulatives.
